T-Mobile Named i4cp’s 2019 Member of the Year

Starbucks, Toyota North America, Humana, and BAE Systems among other member companies honored at the i4cp 2019 conference.

T-Mobile was presented with the i4cp 2019 Member of the Year award today at the i4cp 2019 Next Practices Now conference in Scottsdale, Arizona. The award is presented annually to an i4cp member organization that has demonstrated outstanding innovations and achievement in workforce productivity.

An i4cp member since 2010, T-Mobile executives are active on i4cp’s Chief HR Officer Board and Total Rewards Leader Board. The telecommunications company was recognized for its successful implementation of multiple HR initiatives in the past year. The most notable is the company’s Diversity & Inclusion education initiative, #InsightOut, which was highlighted in a presentation at this week’s conference by T-Mobile’s chief HR officer Liz McAuliffe and Melissa Davis, senior director of employee careers.

Other high-performance organizations were also recognized at i4cp’s conference for their achievements in the human capital field:

Humana - High-Performance Award

Humana, an i4cp member since 2013, has shown significant growth across the board in areas of candidate experience, internal talent mobility, and in the company itself; with a nearly 160% share price growth over the past five years. The company’s constant innovation is especially apparent in its focus on the development and upward movement of internal talent through the organization, achieved through a recent revamp in their talent mobility strategy.  Ty Richardson, Humana’s Vice President of Human Resources, accepted the award today during i4cp’s Next Practice Now conference in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Starbucks - New Member of the Year

Lucy Helm, EVP & chief partner officer at Starbucks, accepted the award on behalf of Starbucks, which has been a model member organization in its first year with i4cp. In addition to seeing a 42% increase in share value over the last year, Starbucks helped guide other i4cp members by sharing lessons learned on the implementation of their talent strategy and their well-publicized unconscious bias training. Helm also presented on these topics at the conference.

Nikki Rodgers, Toyota North America - Board Member of the Year

Nikki  Rodgers has been an essential member of i4cp’s Talent Acquisition Board   since its founding in 2015  . The national director of talent acquisition & HR operations at Toyota North America, Rodgers shared her expertise by serving as a research advisor, providing strategic insight and direction for i4cp’s three-part Progressive Talent Acquisition study, which examined the future of talent acquisition, the evolution of TA technology, and the development of a compelling employer brand.

BAE Systems - Exchange Member of the Year

The British multinational defense, security, and aerospace organization received the award today in recognition of their active commitment and dedication to be a peer partner. This is made apparent in the active participation of several BAE leaders in i4cp's Exchanges (peer working groups that help drive i4cp's research agenda and generate practical tools for other members). Mike Kessler, BAE’s chief learning officer, accepted the award.
