NADA Show 2020: 10 Reasons to Visit the Hireology Booth

NADA Show 2020 will take place in Las Vegas from February 14 through 17. The annual show gives attendees the opportunity to learn about the latest automotive trends, products and technologies, and make connections with fellow industry leaders.

Between the tight labor market and decreasing new vehicle profit margins, hiring qualified employees and driving profit has never been more challenging for dealers. The show will provide attendees with the tools and tactics they need to be set up for success in 2020 and beyond, no matter the economic conditions.

As a strategic hiring partner in retail automotive – powering hiring for 1 in 5 new car dealerships in the U.S. – Hireology attends the NADA Show each year. This year, Hireology is celebrating 10 years as a business and we’re excited to continue helping dealers overcome key hiring challenges by building a human capital advantage through their people.

Hireology will be exhibiting at booth #4137C. Below, we’ve outlined 10 key benefits of stopping by the Hireology booth during the show.

1. Learn how automotive hiring has evolved and grown increasingly challenging in the past decade

The retail automotive industry has faced significant changes throughout the past decade.

While the U.S. was at the height of a recession at the turn of the last decade, the economy is now stronger than ever, with record-low unemployment.

At Hireology’s booth, you’ll have the opportunity to learn
how key trends and milestones have impacted retail automotive hiring during the past 10 years.

Hireology team members will also be on hand to help ensure you’re set up for hiring success in the next 10 years – no matter the economic conditions.

2. See the latest research on retail automotive hiring

Hireology and NADA recently partnered to launch new research on the state of retail automotive hiring. As the only dealership partners with access to this level of detail on dealership hiring trends and activities, Hireology and NADA are excited to share this first-ever research with the industry.

The research features insights based on the hiring activities across 4,000+ retail automotive dealerships representing all major brands and markets. The findings and key takeaways will empower attendees to prepare for the future by outlining an effective people strategy.

One of the key findings from the research was that in 2019, retail automotive dealers lost 2 million job applicants simply because they were never reviewed or it took longer than 21 days – the average time it takes for a job seeker to be hired – to review. Stop by the Hireology booth to get a copy of the research and learn about how your dealership can avoid lost applicants.

3. Understand which key metrics your dealership should track to improve hiring

Many dealerships not only lack a standardized hiring process, but also don’t have access to the right hiring data to hold managers accountable to improving over time. We’ll be sharing an overview of key hiring metrics your dealership should track to drive hiring success.

Some of these metrics include: time to review applicants, time to hire, cost per hire and recruitment marketing ROI. Visit the Hireology team to gain an understanding of why these metrics are important and how you can be more proactive about measuring the health of your hiring efforts.

4. See firsthand customer success stories from dealers like you

In 2019, Hireology customers hired nearly 100,000 employees. If you’re interested in seeing real-world examples of dealerships that have transformed their hiring in partnership with Hireology, stop by the Hireology booth. Some of the featured customer success stories you can learn more about include: Fox Motors, Napleton Automotive Group and Walser Automotive Group.

5. Get a sneak peek at the technology Hireology is building to support dealers in this applicant economy

The Hireology team is always hard at work identifying new ways to help our customers attract top talent, hire qualified employees and seamlessly connect new hires with HR systems – such as onboarding and payroll.

We have several exciting product updates planned to roll out throughout 2020 – including a mobile application, improved communication tools and enhancements to our career site solution, to name a few.

We are also launching a new integration with Jobs on Facebook. Through the integration, jobs created in Hireology can automatically appear on the Facebook Page for your business, in the jobs bookmark, in Marketplace, and News Feed.

Once a job seeker submits an application via Facebook, the application data is pushed to the customer’s Hireology account for review. With 2.5 billion Facebook users each month, the integration will expose dealership roles to a larger talent pool, resulting in more applicants and a faster time to hire.

Speak with a Hireology employee for exclusive insight into our 2020 product roadmap, and feel free to share any feedback you have about additional solutions or enhancements that will help you hire more efficiently.

6. Ask Hireology experts how to best overcome your hiring challenges

Several Hireology team members will be in attendance and eager to help you set your team up for success in 2020 and beyond. If you’re already a Hireology customer, members of our team will be available to answer any questions you’ve come across with the platform and share their expertise for your team to continue driving improved results through the platform.

Not a Hireology customer? Hireology team members will be happy to sit down with you to learn more about your current hiring efforts and do a full walk through of the Hireology platform.

7. Learn about our partnership with Dealertrack

We’re always eager to partner with best-in-class technology providers that can help our customers improve how they attract, hire and connect talent. Leading up to NADA, we recently announced our partnership with Dealertrack, the leading provider of integrated dealership technologies.

The exclusive partnership will help mitigate the redundant, error prone processes that often come when dealers use multiple disconnected and stand-alone solutions that, over time, create frustration and inefficiency for auto dealership staff.

8. Attend Hireology’s featured speaking sessions at NADA

You’ll have two opportunities to attend “The Human Capital Advantage,” a workshop presented by Hireology Co-Founder and CEO, Adam Robinson. The first session will take place on Friday, February 14 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in room N114 and the second session will take place on Saturday, February 15 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in room N241.

During each session, Adam Robinson will help attendees understand the importance of creating a human capital advantage at your dealership and outline best practices successful employers use to connect with top applicants.

9. Celebrate with Hireology at an appreciation happy hour

In 2020, Hireology is celebrating 10 years of helping dealerships and other businesses across industries build their best teams. We have our loyal customers to thank our growth and success over the past 10 years.

To commemorate this exciting milestone, we’re inviting attendees to an appreciation happy hour at our booth, #4137C. The happy hour will take place on Saturday, February 15 from 3-5 p.m.

10. Prepare to win your market through your people strategy in 2020

Unemployment has been steadily declining for 11 years, making hiring highly competitive for dealers and employers across industries. By visiting Hireology, you can walk away fully equipped with the best practices and solutions you need to stand out in this competitive hiring market and secure top talent who will drive profit for your dealership. We’re looking forward to seeing you.
