The Future Of The Cloud, Its Effect On You And Society, With Roman Pacewicz Of AT&T For Business

This article is more than 4 years old.

The world of 2029 will be radically different from now because the vast volume of data and the speed we can work with it will change dramatically. From IT professionals handling the exponential increases in volume for data in their networks to how that data will increasingly be latency free for consumers. Our expectations, our hopes and even new ideas are bound to transform as we increasingly live in a data rich set of moments in everything we do so what could it all mean in terms of how we think, design and even act ten years from now with our networks. Our guest Roman Pacewicz is the Chief Product Officer for AT&T Business.

In a two-part podcast we talk about everything from the idea of a cloud on the edge to how we will be designing fundamentally different networks as one piece of data will have various values and uses.

If you believe that you are a potential Chief (fill in the blank) Officer for a company, then these two podcasts are an excellent guide to what that world will likely involve in ten years’ time. If you are building networks now, or even working out how to build latency free applications now then this discussion will give you immense confidence in what could well be normal infrastructure in the near future.

Roman Pacewicz, Chief Product Officer, leads product management and development for AT&T Business supporting nearly 3 million business customers around the globe. In this role, his team is responsible for all aspects of product management, from defining the strategy and developing the product portfolio to delivering revenue performance and profitability.

During his 20+ year career, Roman has held key leadership positions to drive innovation and performance across multiple disciplines including Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Systems Development, Engineering and Operations.
