13 Podcasts on Human Resources You Don’t Want to Miss

We look to organizations like Human Capital Institute and SHRM for research, learnings, and best practices related to running an HR or people operations department. For HR leaders who don’t have time to browse all the newsletters or attend the conferences, a podcast is a great way to keep up on the latest news. They’re audio-only, and are easy to turn on during a commute or while you’re working on another project. You can also download them for a plane ride or when the subway takes you underground.

Podcasts are growing in popularity across all topics, from NPR’s true crime “Serial” podcast to spinoffs from books like Elizabeth Gilbert’s “Magic Lessons,” a podcast related to her book, “Big Magic.”

One common thread across many podcasts is the access to incredible guest speakers. On the HR front, podcasts feature guests such as Hulu’s Onboarding Program Manager and Talent Development leader Stephanie Bertmer and The Muse founder Kathryn Minshew. If you’re looking to learn from these industry leaders, check out our favorite HR podcasts below.
