The Recruiting Automation Summit is just around the corner and talent acquisition professionals are flying in from all over the country to attend this first-of-its kind event.  Make sure your company has a presence at this event to hear how recruiting automation is changing the way employers find top talent by registering today, before ticket prices go up! To make the case to your boss, we’ve gathered this helpful checklist of reasons to attend the Recruiting Automation Summit, June 13-14 in San Francisco.

1. Align with your team’s goals. Recruiting automation is imperative to companies that plan to scale and remain competitive when it comes to their recruiting strategies. These tools drive efficiency, reduce time-to-hire and improve the talent profile of the entire company. When you learn more about recruiting automation tools, and how to leverage them, you’ll be able to move the needle on problems your manager is trying to solve.

Here’s an example of what you can say to get the conversation started: I know that driving down our time-to-hire is a large initiative for the team this quarter and I’ve read that recruiting automation tools help make the hiring process faster. There’s an event on June 13th and 14th in San Francisco where I could go to learn more and present my learnings at our next team meeting. What do you think?

 2. Take advantage of the fear of missing out. It’s been scientifically proven that humans have loss aversion, or what the millennials call, “FOMO,” or fear of missing out. That is why a comfortable night at home can give you anxiety once you realize people are out having fun without you. The same is true for companies, no company wants to be left in the dark. Leaders know that to maintain or improve their market position, you have to constantly adopt new tools and master new skill sets before your competitors do. Lean into this fear to build your argument for learning more about recruiting automation.

Here’s an example of what you can say to get the conversation started: I’m not sure if you’ve heard about the Recruiting Automation Summit in San Francisco, it’s going to be two days in June where industry leaders talk about all the newest recruiting technology and how recruiters can take advantage of it. I’m sure our competitors are going and I really don’t want our recruiting team to fall behind. I think I should go and bring back some action items for our team.

3. Highlight specifics you know your boss will be interested in. Spend some time with the event agenda and pick out sessions that speak to topics or initiatives your boss shows interest in. If your boss is interested in diversity initiatives, be sure to highlight the breakout session ‘Hiring for Diversity in the Age of AI’ or if your company experienced change recently you should definitely attend ‘Fireside Chat: Change Management.’

Here’s an example of what you can say to get the conversation started: I was thinking more about diversity initiatives and how that’s something you’re very passionate about. There is a session dedicated to AI tools for diversity at The Recruiting Automation Summit in San Francisco in June. Would you like to go together to learn more?

It’s never easy to ask for something, but if you don’t ask you don’t receive. Luckily if you’re asking to attend Recruiting Automation Summit there are infinite reasons to go! Informative sessions, actionable insights, networking and so much more. Once you get the green-light from your manager, register to save your seat. We look forward to seeing you there.
