7 Reasons Why You Should Tune in to This Year’s Talent Connect Livestream

For the 10th LinkedIn Talent Connect, we’re heading to Dallas from September 25-27. But if you can’t make it to Dallas, never fear — you can tune into Talent Connect Live from the comfort of your sofa or your desk.

By watching this year’s livestream, you’ll have access to top insights and tips from the conference. You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved, wherever you are — and maybe even win a ticket to join us in person next year.

If you haven’t registered for the livestream yet, here are seven great reasons to sign up today

1. You’ll have a front-row seat to inspiring keynotes, breakout sessions, and talks

This year’s schedule is jam-packed with industry leaders, experts, and influencers. You’ll hear keynotes from Dean Carter, CHRO of Patagonia, Cynthia Marshall, CEO of the Dallas Mavericks, and Gary Vaynerchuk, CEO of VaynerMedia. They’ll discuss topics like living your values and turning a toxic culture around.

Peabody Award-winning journalist Mariana Atencio, who is currently working as a national correspondent for MSNBC and NBC News, will also take to the main stage. She’ll shine a light on why authenticity is our best currency.

The livestream will also showcase some of the most insightful and motivating breakout sessions of this year’s event. You’ll learn from the likes of activist, educator, and writer Brittany Packnett, who’ll discuss the role of confidence in building winning teams, and former FBI hostage negotiator Chris Voss, who’ll discuss the importance of empathy in negotiations.

Plus, various experts will share their wisdom around using an applicant tracking system (ATS) to its full advantage. Look forward to talks from Daniel Chait, CEO of Greenhouse and Nina Eigerman, VP of alliances and business development at Bullhorn, who’ll share tips and tricks around building a diverse pipeline, creating a more inclusive workplace, and more.

2. You’ll hear exclusive interviews with speakers

In addition to watching their keynote presentations, you’ll be able to catch exclusive interviews with some of our expert speakers on this year’s livestream.

Mariana Atencio, Cynthia Marshall, Dean Carter, and Gary Vaynerchuk will all sit down for a chat in our studio, providing even more insights and advice to help you do your job even better.

By submitting your questions, you’ll have the chance to pick their brains about the topics you care about the most. Use the hashtag #TC19Live to join the conversation.

And while you wait for this year’s event to kick off, you can catch up on interviews from previous years by visiting Talent Connect All Access.

3. You’ll discover tips on how to improve your LinkedIn profile and your company's job posts

Don’t just watch the livestream — be part of it! Talent Connect 2019 will see the return of one of our most-watched segments from last year, #RockMyProfile, led by Red Pill Talent founder and hiring guru Ed Nathanson.

In this fun and interactive live session, Ed will take a look at real LinkedIn profiles submitted by attendees and livestream viewers and offer tips on how they could be spruced up. If you’d like advice about how to improve your profile and get noticed, submit it today and it could be featured on the livestream. Simply create a post on LinkedIn, include the hashtag #RockMyProfile, and we’ll let you know if you’ve been selected.

That’s not your only opportunity to get involved in this year’s event. You’ll also learn how to #RockMyJobPost, courtesy of SocialTalent CEO Johnny Campbell. Johnny will look at real job posts and discuss how they could be made better — by cutting the jargon, adding an attention-grabbing hook, or focusing on the things candidates care about the most.

Learn how to make your job post stand out. For a chance to be featured, create a post on LinkedIn, add a link to a job you currently have posted, and include the hashtag #RockMyJobPost. We’ll follow up closer to the event to confirm if your post will be featured. Good luck!

4. You’ll be among the first to know about LinkedIn product announcements — and see exciting demos

Talent Connect is also your opportunity to learn what’s new with the LinkedIn Talent Solutions products you use the most.

By joining the livestream, you’ll get the latest scoop on a range of product announcements. We’ll also be sharing all-new product demos, including a closer look at Talent Hub, LinkedIn Talent Insights, and Recruiter System Connect. Hear from subject matter experts about how you can get the most value from these tools to make your job easier, collaborate better with your team, and more.

5. You’ll sample LinkedIn Learning Solutions courses and watch a demo

There are so many opportunities to learn on the livestream. In between the main sessions, you’ll be able to grab a quick bite of knowledge with five-minute LinkedIn Learning courses.

Previous events have featured courses on topics like leadership success, making a positive first impression, and how to develop informal authority when you don’t have formal seniority. Tune in to see what’s in store this year.

If you’ve never used LinkedIn Learning before or want to learn more about how to upskill your team or level up your career, you’ll also be able to catch a handy product demo.

6. You’ll enjoy an incredible performance from artist David Garibaldi

The Talent Connect livestream isn’t just about learning and growing — it’s also about having fun. To help you let off some steam and digest what you’ve heard, we’ll be streaming an awe-inspiring presentation from performance painter David Garibaldi.

David is known for creating stunning paintings of musicians in minutes, all while dancing to the beat of their music. His show “Rhythm and Hue” has wowed audiences around the world, and he’ll be coming to Talent Connect fresh off his tour with rock band Kiss.

7. You’ll have the chance to win tickets to Talent Connect 2020

We love to see how people enjoy the livestream, so let us know whether you’re tuning in from your couch in your slippers, on your commute, or in a conference room with your teammates. Snap a photo of your livestream viewing party and you could even win tickets to join us in person at Talent Connect 2020.

To enter, simply share your picture on social media with the hashtag #TC19LiveStream — then tune in on the last day of the event to hear the results announced by last year’s winners.

It all kicks off in Dallas on September 25, 2019. Sign up for the livestream today to reserve your virtual seat at Talent Connect 2019.
