Freddie Mac CHRO and CDO Jacqueline M. Welch to Deliver Keynote at HRO Today Forum North America

Philadelphia, PA – April 30, 2019 – The 2019 HRO Today Forum North America will feature a keynote address by Jacqueline M. Welch, chief human resources officer and chief diversity officer at Freddie Mac.

Welch has more than twenty years of experience in innovative human resources (HR) strategy and execution. As head of HR, Welch is responsible for Freddie Mac’s traditional HR functions such as performance management, total well-being, and learning and development, as well as emerging business drivers such as cognitive technologies and artificial intelligence. As head of diversity, Welch leads the development and execution of the Freddie Mac inclusion and diversity strategy and corporate engagement program.

Welch has been recognized for her leadership, vision, and business acumen. She is a frequent guest speaker at industry events and has served on several boards, including the United Way of Greater Atlanta, Zoo Atlanta, and the Children’s Museum of Atlanta. She has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2019 Diversity Leader Award from the Profiles in Diversity Journal, the Luminary Award from the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC), and will be honored at the HRO Today Forum North America as a finalist for the 2019 CHRO of the Year Award. Before joining Freddie Mac, Welch served as senior vice president of international human resources for Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta.

During her keynote address, Welch will share Freddie Mac’s approach to inclusive engagement -how to engage the differences of employees, suppliers, and partners to start meaningful dialogue, address biased systems, and ignite innovation. She will share insights into Freddie Mac’s innovative engagement programs and discuss how prioritizing an inclusive mindset is a right priority for companies.

“Jacqui will bring a wealth of experience in leadership and HR strategy and execution to her address at the HRO Today Forum North America,” said Elliot Clark, CEO of SharedXpertise and HRO Today. “Attendees will benefit from her unique expertise in linking I&D with business strategy and will gain actionable insights that they can use to enhance engagement initiatives in their own organizations.”

The keynote address with Welch will take place on May 7, 2019, at 10:35 am at the HRO Today Forum North America at the MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland.
