As the parent of two teens, I’ve become quite accustomed to The Eye Roll. This ocular straining happens most often when I request a previously agreed upon task be completed by said teen. Me: “Hey, it’s time to empty the trash. Trash pick up is tomorrow.” Teen: “Ugh,” with a healthy helping of Eye Roll. When the groaning and eye rolling gets excessive, I sit my kid(s) down and clarify a very important fact of parenting: I don’t ask you to carry out chores because I’m lazy.

3 minute read: In late 2018, the IRS began issuing ACA penalties under IRC 6721/6722 to employers that failed to distribute 1095-C forms to employees and to file 1094-C and 1095-C forms with the federal tax agency by required deadlines for the 2015 and 2016 tax years. The penalties are being issued to employers using Letter 5005-A/Form 886-A. Some of the penalties are in the millions of dollars.

And when they work as they should, all is right with the world. However, there are times when we can set up forms 100% correct, but still, form submissions are missed.
