According to the American Staffing Association, 77% of millennial clients plan to increase their use of staffing companies over the next five years. Increased reliance on outsourced recruiting means that the staffing industry will have its hands full.

Luckily, there are numerous software solutions that have stepped in to streamline agency recruitment processes. In fact, the same American Staffing Association study also found that 58% of millennial clients think it's very important that the staffing firm they work with uses the latest tech, such as AI or machine learning tools.

Whether used for passive candidate tracking, invoicing commission, keeping track of timesheets, or sourcing, staffing software helps agencies become more efficient.

Therefore, we asked staffing leaders to share what tools they use to give our readers an idea of where to start looking.

We use Recruiterflow as our recruiting agency software. We are a headhunting firm that finds top tech and sales talent for software firms. We find Recruiterflow to be extremely easy to use to organize and track out pipelines. Their integrated email sequences are just the icing on the cake. Recruiterflow's integration with LinkedIn and ability to sync with our calendar and email has helped us increase our productivity and bring transparency across the org.

Managing Director of Nexus IT Group

We use Loxo to help with automating our workflow. Loxo allows us to take our outreach recruiting cadence from one-to-one to one-to-many. Combed with their AI sourcing, we've seen a big productivity boost for our recruiters.

Founder of Rosenstein Group

We use Manatal, a cloud-based platform that facilitates streamlined resume parsing, job requisition and posting, interview management, background screening, and tracking of interactions with candidates. It is easy-to-use and overall does a good job when it comes to candidate sourcing and collaboration among our internal team of recruiters.

General Manager of Lock Search Group

At the Lock Search Group, we use BambooHR, an all-encompassing and intuitive software that uses automation and AI to streamline talent acquisition. It features the essentials, including an applicant tracking system, workforce planning, analytics, as well as an HRIS. Candidate sourcing is a breeze with BambooHR, as it allows you to customize your job postings and application questions. You can also screen employees and integrate the software into other HR management platforms.

Managing Director of Intrinsic Search

Our go-to recruitment software is TalentLYFT. It features an advanced sourcing and talent CRM (candidate relationship management), applicant tracking system, and marketing platform that lets us easily share job postings on social media. Features such as integration with job boards, AI technology, and social media recruitment have taken the fuss out of our recruitment efforts.

CEO of Onsiter and Right People Group

Two key tools for us are Campaign Monitor and Hubspot CRM (customer relationship management).
Campaign Monitor is used for candidates to subscribe to our jobs, and it enables them to choose an exact geographical and professional interest. Every time we have a new job, we send it out only to those interested in preisely this type of job.
Hubspot CRM is a completely free tool used for our recruiters to manage all their ongoing recruitments. You can outline your exact process and move each recruitment through your process on a visual board. All recruitments are to both customer and candidate data.

Working for a recruiting agency means you have just one thing in mind — finding and hiring the best candidates available. Even though this may sound like a difficult task, software like Zoho Recruit makes it possible. Zoho Recruit makes hiring top talent an effortless and seamless process for recruitment agencies by tracking resumes, scheduling interviews, and much more. This software ensures candidate and client satisfaction and should definitely be considered as one of the best options available on the market right now.

Jim Sullivan

CEO & Founder of JCSI

Manatal is a great recruitment software that can be used by human resources departments, recruitment agencies, and others. Manatal’s Applicant Tracking System streamlines much of the process to allow you to focus your efforts elsewhere. The A.I. is very intuitive and leverages available data to help you make the right decisions. If you or your team are constantly on the move, then the mobile app is the cherry on top that really makes this an excellent recruiting software for your agency.

Where can I find more information?

From back office processes to candidate experience management to onboarding, staffing agency software covers a lot of bases.
