Copy of Copy of Copy of Instagram Webinar Discovering Hidden Talent Pools (Banner (Landscape))Earlier this year, Entelo hosted one of our most successful webinars in our company’s history (link to recap here) focused on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. One of the key components of our webinar’s success was its combination of DE&I insights and best practices from TA leaders at companies such as Amazon, Schneider Electric and others but also being combined with the data and trends leveraged in Entelo’s database of 500M+ professionals.

With over 400 registering (including a professor in Switzerland using our webinar to teach DE&I to her entire class) the content covered has sparked numerous discussions with not only leaders in Talent Acquisition but also Chief Diversity and Inclusion officers at some of the most recognized companies in the world. We shared a key statistic powered by data by Entelo around the unilateral increase in searches for DE&I positions from 2019 to 2020. We’ve had a huge demand from not only our hundreds of industry-leading customers but by other thought-leaders on what the Entelo data is showing so far in 2021. Entelo continued the conversation on our recent webinar on Hidden Talent Pools and we’re excited to give a small peak into what we are seeing from our data.

Entelo Hidden Talent Pools Webinar

Last year we saw a 50% increase in in searches for DE&I positions across the board and across all industries. As we look at the first half of 2021, we’re continuing to see more and more companies investing heavily in highly qualified candidates from underrepresented groups.

Entelo’s been powering the DEI sourcing and hiring efforts of leading companies for over a decade and we LOVE the trends we’re seeing. While Technology has led the way for their commitment to sourcing hiring and retaining talent pools from underrepresented groups our data shows huge increases in several additional industries from our hundreds of progressive customers. Check out these statistics:

Top Industries Increasing their Diversity Searches:

  1. Staffing Agencies have increased their average searches for candidates from underrepresented groups by an amazing 165% compared to the first half of the year in 2020. What we love to see here is that agencies who are traditionally responsible for hiring contract and permanent employees across all industries are unilaterally committing to sourcing and hiring diverse talent pools.
  2. Financial Services and Insurance have increased their average searches for candidates from underrepresented group by an increase of 85% compared to the first half of the year in 2020. This is one of the largest industries and to see their commitment to DEI be backed up with the data is a great sign for the industry.
  3. Healthcare and Pharmaceutical companies have increased their average searches for candidates from underrepresented groups by an increase of 74% compared to the first half of the year in 2020.

In closing, the data in Entelo shows that talent acquisition professional globally are increasing their commitment to sourcing and hiring candidates from underrepresented groups. Entelo is thankful to have been a trusted partner for some of the most recognized companies in the world (including many the apps you probably have on your phone). We know that no singular company has completed their DE&I journey (and many are at the early stages). We are inspired be seeing the commitment across all industries and regions to work to make the world a more inclusive world and are thankful to offer our years of best practices to help guide the way.
