They are easy to listen to in everyday situations that require very little brainpower and a fair amount of time to spare. Think of your daily commute, your weekly ironing session, or your evening run, for example. 

And there is more.

Podcasts are a great way to broaden your horizons. They can help you expand your HR skills, teach you something new about recruitment and talent management, or take you on an episode-long journey into the future of work.  

The best thing about all of this?

It doesn’t cost you a single cent and you can listen to your favorite podcasts when and wherever you like.

In this interview series, AIHR’s Chief HR Scientist, Dr. Dieter Veldsman, leads conversations with experts on HR, HR technology, HR leadership, and more. HR Dialogues is an excellent resource to learn about emerging HR topics like AI-based coaching, frontline employee experience, and shifting from career ladders to career lattices.

Format

The HR Dialogues episodes are usually between 30 and 50 minutes long, full of insightful discussions and real-life examples you won’t find anywhere else.

5. The Candidate Experience Podcast

Format

In episodes that are around 20 to 30 minutes long and together with guest experts, Chuck provides hiring managers, recruiters, and HR professionals with useful information on how to improve the candidate experience and how to enhance your employer brand. 

Job seekers also get valuable career advice and job search tips.

6. Voices of HR

We love listening to Fay’s voice and her beautiful British accent. Her episodes really are the perfect moment to sit down with a cup of coffee and listen.

Eat Sleep Work Repeat evolves around the question of how we can fix work. While this may not be an HR podcast in the strict sense of the word, ‘making work better’ definitely is of interest to HR professionals – or at least it should be.

The podcast host Bruce Daisley formerly ran Twitter’s business in Europe, and his first book, about improving work and work culture was a Sunday Times #1 bestseller.

Format

In each episode, Bruce chats with psychologists, scientists, and other experts about improving our jobs.
