Since then, SHRM has developed a certification that aligns with the competency model. In my role as a SHRM special expertise panel member and as one of the initial item writers for the SHRM certification exam, I had the opportunity to hear an update about the certification program during this year’s SHRM Annual Conference in Las Vegas.
