How to Tune In to Forward, LinkedIn's Virtual Event on the Future of Work
If you’re completely excited about the future of work but not completely certain about what it will look like or how to prepare for it, join us for Forward, an hour-long virtual event taking place on LinkedIn Live tomorrow March 29 (and March 30 for viewers in Asia Pacific).
Forward won’t be a road map for the future as much as an atlas of possibilities, bringing together talent leaders from businesses around the world to discuss the challenges — and opportunities — of the Great Reshuffle. The global event will be highlighted by two panel discussions, one that will focus on reimagining your company culture and another that will address the importance of skill building and effective internal mobility.
The best news? It’s not too late to register.
Click here to ensure you have a front-row seat tomorrow to hear leaders at Pfizer, Unilever, Deloitte, Rolls-Royce, Atlassian, and elsewhere share ideas about making the world of work more flexible, equitable, and meaningful. LinkedIn’s chief economist Karin Kimbrough, chief people officer Teuila Hanson, and director of employee engagement Nawal Fakhoury will also share their insights.
The event will be hosted by Guy Raz, the renowned podcaster and NPR journalist, and psychologist and best-selling author Angela Duckworth, whose six-minute TED Talk on grit has been viewed 25 million times.
Forward is taking place right here on LinkedIn via LinkedIn Live. After registering, you’ll gain access to the livestream link and be notified when the event is starting. Kickoff will be tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. PDT/11:30 a.m. EDT/4:30 p.m. BST and, for those in Asia Pacific, on March 30 at 9:30 a.m. IST/12 p.m. SGT/3 p.m. AEDT.
Can’t make it? No sweat. Register and you can watch a recording of the event at a time that works best for you.
Talent leaders will probe company culture and internal mobility
With company culture seemingly at the forefront of every organization’s thinking, Forward has pulled together a trio of innovative leaders to illuminate what they see as the best practices for building cultures that will attract and retain talent:
- Jen Fisher, the chief well-being officer at Deloitte
- Crystal Gaskin, chief people and culture officer at Mailchimp
- Lars Schmidt, founder of Amplify, an HR consultancy and executive search firm
The culture discussion will be complemented with a case study of LiftUp!, a program LinkedIn launched to combat employee burnout and isolation, and a chat with Missy Hallead, the SVP of global talent and group people and culture at Aristocrat.
To address the struggles organizations are facing with a tight talent market and a growing skills gap, tomorrow’s event also includes a panel of three leaders who will delve into skill building and internal mobility:
- Daisy Auger-Dominguez, chief people officer at Vice Media Group
- Sean Hudson, vice president of learning and development at Pfizer
- Placid Jover, vice president HR Latin America at Unilever
The skills discussion will be amplified by a case study of how Atlassian, the Australian software maker, has leveraged internal mobility and a chat with Mary FitzPatrick, the global head of diversity and inclusion at Rolls-Royce.
It’s going to be a lot of timely content packed into an hour and you won’t want to miss a single minute. So, register now and we’ll see you tomorrow.
