At my office, there is a longstanding tradition that the interns bring in donuts/tacos/etc. on Friday mornings. There is sometimes a money collection that goes around (I have my own feelings about soliciting people for money at the office) but more often than not the intern that gets that week has to foot the lion’s share of the bill.
