Relaxed Form I-9 Compliance Extended to Aug. 19

Employers with entirely remote workforces as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic have until Aug. 19 to take advantage of relaxed Form I-9 document inspection requirements when onboarding new hires. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced that it was extending its interim policy allowing virtual inspection methods for another 30 days.
