Proposed FSLA changes bring added costs, complexity

The Department of Labor (DOL) has proposed changes to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) 1 that will dramatically increase the number of employees who must be paid on an hourly basis. Beyond Compliance: The Cost of Training

On September 12, 2008, a commuter train in Los Angeles collided with a freight train head on, with 25 people left dead in the aftermath. The conductor was allegedly text messaging, missing a signal.
