E-Verify State Requirements

States continue to mandate E-Verify for all or a large segment of their employers. The following states require or will soon require all employers to participate: Alabama, Arizona, Mississippi and South Carolina. Other states, including Georgia and North Carolina, require most employers to participate. A third category of states require E-Verify for public and state employers.
