Workflow automation will create efficiencies for recruiters and sourcers

We know there are a lot of repetitive tasks out there for sourcers and recruiters, which means click after click, day after day. With today’s launch of Workflow Automation, we’re hoping we can do something about that, one workflow at a time. Eightfold customers will now be able to automate their repetitive tasks, like moving candidates through stages with a fully customizable and easy to use workflow engine.

Some examples of what can be automated:

  • Instead of moving a candidate to the interview stage for the umpteenth time today, you can create a custom workflow from an easy-to-use user interface. That workflow might indicate, for example, that whenever a candidate passes a phone screen with a recruiter they automatically move forward.
  • A company could automatically move everyone who’s a five-out-of-five match for a particular role to the screening interview stage, so all these strong candidates get at least one interview.
  • For your talent communities, you can automatically add to the pool and send nurturing campaigns to every engineer in Atlanta who is a good match; every potential matching salesperson you met at a career fair; every matching military veteran with cybersecurity experience, and so on.

These are only a handful of the potential workflows companies can use. You can get creative!

Eightfold’s talent intelligence drives these workflows. So, as is the case throughout the employee lifecycle using Eightfold, the emphasis is on capability and potential. Someone flagged as a good match for a role may have never done that exact role before. But, they have the potential based on their adjacent skills (if you know A and B, you have the potential to learn C quickly).

While this automation helps each individual in the talent-acquisition department, ultimately it helps the overall company grow and scale. That’s because it makes your recruiters and sourcers more productive (we’ve heard customers becoming about 3 ½ times more productive) and efficient, speeding up hiring time and freeing up your talent teams to do their highest-value work.
