A tool that helps employers boost employee engagement through an immersive and enjoyable 3D platform has received the inaugural Excellence in HR Tech Innovation award at the 2023 HR Technology Conference in Las Vegas. RemoteBridge CEO and chief people officer Alex Sheshunoff accepted the trophy Tuesday during the Top Products Awards Ceremony at Mandalay Bay.

RemoteBridge founders launched the solution during the pandemic when video and online meeting fatigue was prevalent with the goal of enhancing retention, expediting proficiency and spreading joy in the workplace.

Incorporating an interactive dynamic that gives people a sense of freedom from the camera, RemoteBridge operates within a virtual world delivered through a web browser—without the need for downloads, goggles or headsets.

The tool prioritizes culture and training and aims to transform onboarding into adventure with a dynamic, visually appealing VR-like experience. “We do virtual recruiting, onboarding and compliance training in this kind of crazy, avatar-based platform,” said Sheshunoff. “Now you can interact with people from all around the world in a totally new and engaging way.”

The Top HR Products review team was delighted by RemoteBridge. It’s already trusted by 19 Fortune 100 companies, including Google, Microsoft, PepsiCo, Hilton and FedEx, “and they keep coming back and wanting more, wanting more from our platform,” Sheshunoff told HRE.

New this year is this additional recognition for one of these brands: the Excellence in HR Tech Innovation 2023. It was a contest with stiff competition, much of it fueled by generative AI gains.

“This is a great period in the history of HR technology,” said Boese. Talent challenges in a tight labor market, in particular, were met with powerful new AI-fueled tech. According to Boese, this environment has fostered increased investment and innovation in HR technology solutions like RemoteBridge.
