The owner of the company requires that meal breaks start at 1 p.m. While I have told him that meal breaks should not be scheduled later than 4 hours and 59 minutes into the shift, he insists that a 1 p.m. meal break is compliant since it is exactly 5 hours after work commences and not more than 5 hours.
