Contrary to popular belief that pay or benefits are most important to workers, work-life balance continues to outrank most other drivers of job satisfaction; 75% say it’s necessary. It also edged out having a good working relationship with the boss (64%), working in a convenient location (63%), and doing enjoyable tasks or projects (55%).

Understanding workers’ relationship with scheduling is crucial for employers to remain competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
