Just seeing/hearing a candidate’s name can cause them to be rejected because of unconscious biases. So, if you want to avoid religious discrimination, consider using one of the available name-blinding methods. It’s a mistake to assume that the current Middle East conflict isn’t having a negative impact on recruiting.
