Target and Union Workers Reach Settlement Over Age Discrimination Claims

Target and two union workers have reached a settlement over allegations that the company discriminated against older workers in its hiring practices. The settlement, which was announced on Tuesday, calls for Target to pay $75,000 to the two workers and to create a new training program for its hiring managers on how to avoid age discrimination. The allegations against Target stemmed from a 2017 job posting for a store manager position.
