Nominal wages in the U.S. grew for the ninth consecutive quarter, with an increase of 0.7 However, while this means that the typical worker’s purchasing power has increased, it remains below pre-Great Recession levels. Nominal wages in the U.S. grew for the 9th consecutive quarter, increasing 0.7 Still, Detroit and Chicago remain below the national average in terms of Y/Y nominal growth.
