During a recent flight, I was reading some old issues of Training Magazine on my way to Austin for the Great Place to Work’s Small and Medium Business Conference and it occurred to me that today’s career development efforts can be summarized into three areas of responsibility.

Well, SHRM announced during the conference a new list of books that are eligible for recertification credit. I’m not sure if this has always been a feature at SHRM conferences, but SHRM had an area dedicated to their Knowledge Center. Finally, one of the biggest reasons that I love attending the SHRM annual conference is networking.
