New Jersey Law Against Discrimination Expands Protections Against Ageism

The state of New Jersey recently updated its Law Against Discrimination (NJLAD) to include protections against age discrimination. NJLAD “prohibits discrimination and harassment based on actual or perceived race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, and other protected characteristics,” now including age.
