USCIS Drops Proposed Immigration Filing Fee Increases

?The contested immigration filing fee increases proposed last summer by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will not go into effect.As the result of a lawsuit, the new fees were temporarily blocked days before going into effect on Oct. 2, 2020. On Dec. 28, the federal government voluntarily moved to dismiss its appeal, meaning the fees cannot be implemented.
