Undoubtedly, the HR profession has undergone many changes in the past few years. However, a majority of HR professionals, along with their respective companies, have managed to stay ahead of the competitive curve. To be precise, you cannot undermine the significance of the HR department in your organization’s functioning. That’s why it is imperative to consider the latest technological platforms to prepare for the future of HR.
Of all the ways to speed up hiring now, one may not be getting the attention it deserves: using messaging, not email. We took a look at our customers’ time to hire, defined in this case as the time between when a candidate applies, or is contacted, and when they are hired. We compared hires who were contacted, and communicated with throughout the hiring process, using SMS, versus those contacted via email.
