Meditation has been one of the things that I practiced regularly. Starting in my teenage years, I didn’t know much about it (still don’t know) but loved the idea of being myself while my eyes were closed. Now we can strive for perfection, try our hardest every damn day to be perfect, but alas it’s a fools errand.

I know you might be thinking, why do I have to practice anything in these times of upheaval? Isn’t it the governments’ responsibility to turn things around? After all, they are the ones receiving safe and inflated pay cheques and they appear to have all the power and control. Well, you know that line of thinking is a sure-fire way to end up feeling like a pile of poo and experience continual anger in your mind and body.
Big Brother appears to be getting bigger in the business world. The fictional character in George Orwell’s 1984, whose name is synonymous with surveillance, is enjoying increased popularity among many companies who think they need to monitor workers. Not everyone agrees with the practice.

As the excitement starts building up for COP26, now less than 40 days away, it would be good if the Glasgow meeting of countries on the Climate Change issue sees some concrete progress on the critical issue of Climate financing support for developing nations. It would really be unfortunate if this much looked forward to meeting ends up in either of the following scenarios: Rich countries make fresh promises of doing their bit on Climate financing, but no roadmap is agreed on at the meeting when
