Daily commute is causing unnecessary stress for UK workers, negatively affecting engagement, productivity and happiness. More than half (54%) of workers say they frequently arrive for work already stressed, according to a new study by CIPHR. In CIPHR’s survey of more than 1,400 full-time UK workers, the daily commute was found to be the single biggest cause of stress: nearly half (45%) said it’s their number one pre-work stressor.
