This is the May/June 2011 issue of our free monthly newsletter, Future of Work Agenda. Much of our time did focus on history: the Churchill War Rooms, Windsor Castle, the Halls of Parliament, attending Evensong at Westminster Abbey (in the same space where a little wedding took place in late April), a walking tour of Oxford, and a Shakespeare play at the reconstructed Globe Theater—to say nothing of also visiting Edinburgh Castle and walking a bit of the Old Course at St.

Dreamforce 2011, Workday Tech Summit, and the Post-PC World


This year''s Dreamforce, held the last week of August, was no exception: 45,000 people registered to attend and some great product announcements came out of the event. It was a personally exciting time for me, as we announced a major partnership with salesforce.com, and earlier that week hosted our second Workday Tech Summit For those of us that live in the SaaS or cloud world, Dreamforce is the main event of the year.
